On the 12th of April 2016, within the context of the University of Cyprus’ Career Fair, the university students had the opportunity to come into first-hand contact with the Labour Market.The event was a test for most of them to assess their job searching skills, and determine strengths and weaknesses in their ability to promote themselves in the world of work after they graduate. Naturally, our Association was present to support the effort of the Student Affairs Office of the University of Cyprus by sharing knowledge and experience with the students that attended the event.The “Interview and Role Playing” workshop delivered by the trainer Demetris Vassilakkas provided the students with valuable information regarding the Interview part of the Recruitment and Selection process, and gave the opportunity to the attendants to establish the information through role playing. The students had the opportunity to be on the “hot seat” of the interviewee and prove their readiness.
