The Ethics Committee was established in order to control the observance of the principles of the Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics by the members of the Association. The Committee investigates and decides in the event that there is a named written complaint about a specific violation of the Code by a Member of the Association.
It consists of three members of the Association who are appointed by the Board of Directors and the term lasts until the end of the term of the Board of Directors. The composition of the Committee must guarantee the necessary thorough examination and evaluation of each case of the reported violation, as well as the independence of the Committee’s judgment from biases and unfair influences.
Committee members are selected based on their interest in contributing to the full implementation of the Code and their experience/familiarity with ethics and ethical issues.
